The 100 free spins cost nothing, since you get them for ticking the opt-in box when you register. The 100% match on your first deposit is bigger, but WSB pays it in its own coins, worth 10c each, and you move them into either your casino wallet or your sports wallet. What the welcome terms say

What the casino wallet’s wagering costs

You have to bet casino coins 30 times before you can withdraw. WSB’s own example is a R500 deposit, which brings R500 in coins, so that’s R15,000 in casino bets. Slots keep about R4 of every R100 you bet on average, so that costs you around R600, more than the bonus is worth. The full R20,000 match means depositing R20,000 and then betting R600,000. On the sports side, 5x on the same coins is R2,500 in bets.

ZARbet also asks for 30x the bonus, TicTacBets for 35x and YesPlay for 8x.

Average cost assumes every bet goes on slots that keep about R4 of every R100.

Club Prive and the rotating promotions

Club Prive is WSB’s loyalty scheme, and every account is in it. From Bronze level (50 points) you get 5% of your monthly net losses back in coins, rising to 7.5% at Silver and 10% from Gold. On your birthday there’s a voucher that grows with your tier, plus a 100% match up to R2,000 on a deposit made that day. You claim the match by emailing [email protected], and it carries the same casino wagering as the welcome match.

The game promotions change every few weeks. When we read the promotions page on 11 October, the WSB Jackpot Races were paying R150,000 in cash to the top 100 Habanero players every Wednesday and Friday evening, and Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins ran alongside TaDa’s Halloween tournament and Games Global’s Rewards Burst.

The studio totals in WSB’s lobby added up to 3,168 games from 49 studios when we checked on 11 October. Table games and jackpots
